Audible
As a school community we are able to access free audiobooks via SORA, but there is also another option for all families. During this unusual time of home learning you can access audio books, for children, for free from stories.audible.com.
Audible is an audiobook platform that many of you may already know about. For the foreseeable future they have put together a website for you to download childrens’ audiobooks for free. Audible has hundreds of stories to appeal to your children, in both English and other languages (including Italian).
You can download these stories and share them as a family. Use any device and play it through some speakers. Listen while cooking, crafting, creating or playing quietly. You might like to all lie down, rest and listen together. Take this extraordinary opportunity to share your child’s reading interests.
