Additional learning at home

The Home Learning Hub at Good Shepherd is designed to provide a flexible, supportive, and enriching educational experience for our students, that recognises the positive impact of parental involvement in their child’s learning journey. It also recognises that students can easily become overburdened by external requirements and co-curricular commitments and the engagement level can be decided by the parent, who can take these external factors into account.

The additional learning provided is not a pre-requisite to learning that occurs within the classroom and students are to be guided by their parent/carer about their individual expectations at home.   
The Term Overviews that are provided at the beginning of each term, will assist families with selecting what resources they would like to follow for the term, to best compliment what students are completing during the school day.   

The Home Learning Hub has a range of resources that families can sign up for, to explore the full depth of the curriculum in a convenient and structured way.
